Urban Roots wasn't even a dream of mine. I enrolled into beauty school just to see if I would like it, at the age of 26. And I found that I was good at it. So I finished school and stated to look for a job. Not the easiest thing to do. I finally found a job at our current location called Jones and Company. It was a great place to work. The only bad part was, two weeks after my hire date the salon owner decided to close her doors, after I think 5-6 years of business. Well that really sucked for me. To make a long story short I purchased the salon, with a total of three other girls working there. Now 5 years later, and maybe a bit wiser, we have 19 wonderful girls and a great receptionist. We all love what we do and we also have a great time. So if you are looking for a fun environment to come and relax in we won't let you down. Give us a call you might make some new friends, I know I have. Jodie Randall--owner
